Unable to Get Audio Stats - (windows OS)

This error message is caused by a permission issue of some kind.
Please try the following which normally will solve the problem.

Please close SS.
Then, temporarily disable your antivirus program (disable all of its modules)
Next, right click the SS icon and select "Run as Admin" This will open the program.
Now try opening an audio file or song. Do you still see this issue or has it disappeared.

If you continue to see this, please copy one of these files and paste to your desktop
and then once on your desktop try again opening in SS.

If you still see this error message, please complete a Help Desk ticket and mentioned
that you have tried these steps listed in the knowledge base.
