When I slow the music down I begin to hear a lot of distortion, is this normal?

In older versions of Song Surgeon (Versions 1 and 2) distortion was encountered in some situations, most often with larger pitch and tempo changes.

Version 3 solves the distortion problem. You should not hear any distortion when you change pitch or tempo, except in extreme situations. If you do, please contact the help desk.
