Version 3 - Clicking sound on cut and paste

Version 3 - Clicking sound on cut and paste

This probably due to where you are making the cut.  You need to cut and paste at points where there is silence or the wave form is flat.  I have experienced the same thing using a professional Yamaha recording device, when trying to cut and paste a section of a file.

After performing your operation, if you still hear a click you may need to zoom in using the 1-2 second zoom operation and at the point where the click occurs, select a very small area of the wave form that encompasses this click and insert silence.

One other way to deal with this is to select a small area of the wav form data preceding the actual cut point and apply the fade out option.  This will apply a linear volume decrease to the selected area, resulting in 0 volume at its end.  If you cut at this point, where there is no volume (silence) this should help eliminate the clicking.
