Socks 5 Proxy Setting Error in Download Surgeon 03//04/20
If you see an error message about a Socks 5 Proxy or Protocol setting when trying to use Download Surgeon 3
please do the following:
Open your System Preferences
Go to Network >> Select "Advanced Button"
In Advance Window select "Proxies".
In the box on the left side, deselect "SOCKS" proxy.
In order for Download Surgeon to work correctly a proxy setting can't be used.
Close Download Surgeon, then open it again, and check to see if the error has disappeared. If it has not please contact
the Help Desk and submit a Support Ticket.
