Destination path cannot be found / Cannot import
Q. I am seeing an error message when I try to rip or open a file that says something like, destination path cannot be found. What is the problem?
A. At the time of installation, Song Surgeon creates some default folders on your computer for its use. Occasionally these folder may point to virtual rather than real folders. When that is the case you will see this error message.
To fix this issue, click the Options button at the top of the main user interface. You will see five paths. To the right of these paths is a button with 3 dots on it. This is a browse button. Click it and then check each path to make sure it is REAL. You will know this because after you browse and attempt to save the path, you will see a warning, if the path is not good. If it saves the path with no warnings then that path (folder) is fine.
