Windows 10

Windows 10 has some prickly issues with permissions that can cause problems.   If you have recently upgraded to
Windows 10 and are having problems with the registration of Song Surgeon or the running of the program, please try the following.

1. Close and uninstall
2. Go to Control Panel >> Users. Make sure your user profile has Administrative Privileges
3. Download the newest version from this link

http://songsurgeon.com/files/SongSurgeon4.msi

4. Temporarily disable your antivirus program and all of its components
5. Install the program.
6. After install is complete, right click the SS program icon, select "Run As Admin" and allow the program to
open. Now, click the I am a customer button and try registering again. Let me know.

If this doesn't solve the problem, please complete a Support Ticket.
