When I open the YT sniffer and it checks for an update... this update notice NEVER finishes.

If the YT sniffer update message never completes and remains on the screen, it could be cause by either a permissions issue or an antivirus blocking issue. Here is what I'd like you to do.

C: Program Files (x86)/Video Surgeon 2/

In this folder look for the following files
run.exe
run.exe.new

If you have both, then delete the run.exe file and rename the other to run.exe (deleting the .new suffix)

Now go to the Video Surgeon icon. Right click it and select Run as Admin. Once the program opens, open the YT sniffer. Do you still see the sniffer updating message. If so, please complete a help desk ticket.
