If you previously turned off the BPM Pop up window that ask you to select the detected BPM or half that amount. Here is
how you to turn it back on:
In Windows:
Go here - and in place of the X's the path you will follow will contain your
user name on the computer.
C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Roaming\Song Surgeon 5
In this subfolder you'll find a file named SongSurgeon5.ini
Open it in a text editor; I suggest note pad. Find this string:
DontShowBPMPopup=true
Change the word true to false. Then save the changes to the file.
In Mac go here
Library\Application Support\Song Surgeon 5\
In this subfolder you'll find a file named SongSurgeon5.ini
Open it in a text editor; I suggest TextEdit. Find this string:
DontShowBPMPopup=true
Change the word true to false. Then save the changes to the file.
Now re open SS and open a file, and if the file detected has a high BPM it will show this message.
Note, it only shows it for high bpm files (140 BPM or higher).
