If you encounter a situation where Song Surgeon locks up or freezes when you attempt to record,
please check the recording devices on your machine and make certain at least one is enabled.
The easiest way to do this is to open SS, then select Record, and toward the bottom of the recording screen
click the button that says "recording devices" and then from the Window that opens select the tab that says
"recording"
In this tab you will see one or more device. Please select one device and make sure it is enabled. Disable all
other recording devices while recording. Once done you may want to enable the other devices again.
