Recording witn Song Surgeon on Windows 10 machines
If you are encountering problems with the recording module on your Windows machine, here are a few tips that may be helpful.
1. If you are trying to record system audio, make sure to select the correct output device which is for system audio. Sometimes the output device name may not
be obvious. I'd suggest you try them one at a time until you find the one that works.
2. If you are running an antivirus program temporarily turn it OFF while you test this. It could be causing a problem.
3. The newer version of Win 10 require software to be given permission to access the microphone. Check and make sure this is not the issue. Here is a link

If you try this and and still have a problem, please complete an incident support ticket here on the Help Desk.
