Opening protected M4p file from iTunes
The m4p files are a protected file format that are used by iTunes. These are rare but, occasionally we do see them. Song Surgeon cannot open them directly. You can either convert these files or you can re-download as an mp3 from iTunes. See the link below on how to do this.
