If you see an error message about not being able to install WinPcap because a version is in use by your computer, please try the following: 1. Go to Control Panel >> Installed Software >> and look for WinpCap. If you find it there, uninstall it. 2. Go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\WinPcap In this folder, check and see if there is an uninstall icon. If so, double click to run this and allow the program to uninstall. 3. Reboot and select shift + F8 to start Safe Mode. Once in safe mode, please try reinstalling. 4. If neither of the above works, then Reboot your computer. Then, run Device Manager, enable "Show Hidden Devices" by clicking on View -> Show Hidden Devices, Then, in >> "Non-Plug and Play Drivers", look for "NetGroup Packet Filter Driver", see whether it is there or not. If it is there, right click and then select uninstall. After you have successfully uninstalled WinPcap you can again try installing Video Surgeon. If you already have Video Surgeon installed and are just missing WinpCap you can install it directly using this link: Once uninstalled, please reinstall using the link below: http://www.winpcap.org/install/bin/WinPcap_4_1_3.ex |
