If you encounter an error message when trying to open or trying to use
Download Surgeon for Windows that reads "Indefinite Error 2:43" please
do the following to resolve this issue:

Subfolders folders and everything in them

C:\Program Files (x86)\Download Surgeon
C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Roaming\Download Surgeon
(the X's represent your User Name on your machine)

Also note that the "App Data" folder might be hidden, if so you can

AGAIN.. DELETE these 2 Download Surgeon subfolders.

4. THEN Reinstall and run the program.  It should now work.  If it doesn't complete a support ticket.
