Fixing Problems Caused By Webroot antivirus software

Here are some suggestions for users of Download Surgeon that are running Webroot as their antivirus program.

If you are trying to copy and paste a URL into the YT downloader address field and cannot
this is a problem is caused by Webroot.  The link below provides instructions on how to fix this this, or

Please add the following program exceptions to fix problems in Download Surgeon caused by Webroot.

Go to:

Web Root >> Identity Protection >> Application Protection

 In the application Protection tab add the following exceptions AND mark them as "Allow"

 
C:\Program Files (x86)\Download Surgeon\DownloadSurgeon.exe

C:\Program Files (x86)\Download Surgeon\run.exe

C:\Program Files (x86)\WinPcap\rpcapd.exe

 

**On machines with older OS’s like XP, (32 bit system)the folder structure is slightly different and will be this:   C:\Program Files\
