Error in getting file formats We got an error while getting download file info ExitCode: #1 Error ID: #6

If you are having problems with the YT Downloader and it doesn't work or you see any of the following error messages

"Error in getting file formats
We got an error while getting download file info
ExitCode: #1
Error ID: #6"

Please try the following.

Go to this location: C: Program Files (x86)\Video Surgeon 2\

In this folder you should see a run.exe file (and possibly a run.exe.new file).

1. If you see both, please delete the run.exe and then rename the run.exe.new to run.exe - and then open the software and try the YT Sniffer again.

2. If you see only one run.exe.new, rename it to run.exe - and then open the software and try the YT Sniffer again.

3. If you see only run.exe, please temporarily disable your antivirus program and then right click the VS2 icon and select
"Run As Admin" . This will open VS. When it opens try the YT module again. If it doesn't work, please let me know what
the date is on this run.exe file ?

In some windows OS versions extensions are hidden by default. This link will show you how to turn them on and make the above
easier to accomplish.
