DS4 for Mac Issues: Blank Screen, Progress Bar Doesn't Finish, Crash on Opening

 DS4 may not work correctly on some older machines.  We are currently trying to understand why we see some specific problems and fix them.  Until then we have an alternative build that should fix most of these issues.  Specifically, if you see any off the following, please install this alternative build and then try using DS4 again:

1. You click the Sniffer or YouTube module and you see only a blank screen
2. You open the YouTube or Sniffer module and you go to a page and click the green download icon and a progress bar appears that never finishes
3. You install and then try launching DS4 and it crashes upon opening.

If you encounter any of these 3 situation, please download the alternative build using the link below:

Before you install this Alt Build, go to your system tray on the Mac which is in the top right hand corner of your screen. There you will see a small green DS4 try icon. Click on this icon and then select close.  After you have close the DS4 tray icon, you can install the alt build OVER TOP the existing build. There is no need to uninstall first.
